Psalm 103:1a,2b-4a (WEB)
Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me. And don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction.

I am so thankful that my mom has arrived and has now begun this new season of life with us in Kansas. I have missed her!
The anticipation of having her here and the process of preparing our house for her has brought unexpected renewal and healing. I am dreaming more, creating more, imagining possibilities more ... feeling more like my old self, but even better.
I wonder how often we don't see how God is healing us. I would not have thought that I needed this sort of revival, or that dreaming, creating, imagining was what my soul needed. Even just thinking about possibilities and allowing them to BE possibilities has been life-giving. I knew I needed something. I just didn't know it was this.
I am not sure exactly how to describe what "this" is, though. It's...je ne sais quoi. But Psalm 103 resonates today with whatever "this" is.
Thanks, God!
Great post. Inspiring. :)
