Listening

This quote is from the footer of our transitional presbytery exec's email. As I approach some time off for study, I am reminded that it is also time for listening. 

"Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God.”

John 8:47 NLT

Gladly.  A "get to," not a "got to." Sometimes listening feels like hard work, maybe because it's hard to make time and space for it. But it is worth the effort.
